Kari Harsch
Talent Acquisition
Kari has over 15 years experience in the specialty apparel industry. Prior to launching Apparel Resource, Kari was a Merchandise Manager at Lands’ End . She has also held roles in Corporate Recruitment, Store Management and Visual Merchandising in the department store and specialty retail space. This experience gives her an excellent knowledge base for recognizing and recruiting talented private label candidates who are looking for new opportunities.
Kari has a vast knowledge of the apparel industry from big box retailers down to privately owned specialty businesses. Kari is detail oriented, timely and values the long term partnerships she has with her corporate clients. Integrity and doing the right thing for clients and candidates alike are top priority for Kari. Having serviced hiring managers with open positions internally she understands the sense of urgency to fill positions with the right candidate. Many of her candidates are promoted within their first year of placement.
Kari has a deep network of product savvy candidates in functions such as merchandising, design, product development, planning and marketing.
Kari received a Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising and Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout.

Leslie Young
Talent Acquisition
Prior to joining Apparel Resource, Leslie oversaw all corporate recruitment functions at Lands’ End. She has a strong network industry contacts and prides herself on maintaining those connections. Having spent six years inside a fast-paced specialty retailer, Leslie understands the pressures of having a position vacant and the impact it can have on your business. She builds authentic relationships and consistently delivers results with her ability to identify strong candidates.
Leslie’s ability to build authentic relationships, provide candid/honest feedback and deliver a personalized approach makes her a great partner to any company or candidate. She is energetic, tenacious and stays abreast of the latest recruitment trends to better fulfill your recruitment needs.
Leslie focuses her recruiting efforts in retail corporate positions including merchandising, design, planning, allocation, product development, sourcing and field-based retail positions.
Leslie received a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Journalism from University of Northern Iowa.
